Sarah graduated as a Speech Pathologist from the University of Queensland in 2006. She is a member of Speech Pathology Australia and a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist. She joined our team at Speech Results in February 2013.
Sarah has worked in Canberra and Melbourne with a broad range of preschool, school age and adolescent clients and their families. Sarah has extensive experience and a special interest in working with preschool children and school aged children with a range of developmental delays and disabilites, complex communication needs and feeding difficulties. Sarah has specific experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy. She is also experienced in working with children with acquired brain injury.
She is a warm and highly dedicated therapist who also brings a sense of fun to her therapy sessions. She prides herself on her ability to achieve functional outcomes for the clients she works with. She is committed to working closely with parents and families both in the clinic and the community to achieve the best outcomes for your child.
Sarah attends regular Professional Development. She has completed training in the Lidcombe Program, PECS, Hanen training programs (It takes two to talk and More than Words), DIR/Flooritme, SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) approach to feeding and the Paediatric Feeding Education Program.
