Stephanie graduated as a Speech Pathologist in 1987. She has had many years of Paediatric experience in a range of settings including Hospitals, Community Health, Early Intervention and Specialist Children’s Services. She worked in the United Kingdom for two years and gained invaluable experience working in a Language Unit with school aged children with severe language and learning disorders.
Stephanie established the practice in 1997. It has been located in Ivanhoe since 2006.
Stephanie is a dedicated Speech Language Therapist who enjoys working with families in the long-term. She works with a wide range of children with communication, speech and language difficulties. Her special interests and expertise are Developmental Language Disorders, Stuttering in young children, Literacy issues in School-aged children, and Articulation and Phonological disorders. While working directly with the child, Stephanie’s focus is always on parent education and involving parents in the therapy process, to ensure that they are able to work with their own child to attain the best communication skills possible.
Stephanie has also been trained to deliver the Camperdown Program, a stuttering treatment program for adults and adolescents.
Stephanie is committed to continual Professional Development. She is a Member of Speech Pathology Australia and is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist.
