Stephanie Rickard

Stephanie has over 30 years' experience as a Paediatric Speech Pathologist. Her early working experience included Hospitals, Community Health services and Early Intervention. She worked in the United Kingdom for several years and gained invaluable experience in a Language Unit with school aged children with severe language and learning disorders. Stephanie established the Speech Results practice in 1997.

Stephanie is a dedicated Speech Pathologist who enjoys working with families in the long term. She works with a wide range of children with communication, speech and language difficulties. Her particular areas of interest and experience are Developmental Language Disorders, Stuttering, Literacy issues in Primary school-aged children, and Articulation and Phonological disorders. While working directly with the child, Stephanie’s focus is always on parent education and involving parents in the therapy process, to ensure the best outcomes.

Stephanie has also been trained to deliver the Camperdown Program, a stuttering treatment program for adults and adolescents.

Stephanie is committed to ongoing Professional Development. She is a Member of Speech Pathology Australia and a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist.
